Kent, WA: Last year, after winning the UCi Worlds – Arizona’s BROCK HEFFRON was voted “Youth Athlete of the Year” by the readers of Si for Kids (and a little help from the BMX community). He was then pictured on the front cover with one of his heroes; Colts QB Payton Manning. Right before his SI for Kids cover-shoot, Brock broke his arm playing pop-warner football – and was unable to finish his chase for ABA’s 2007 National No.1 Amateur and Cruiser titles.
Now healed up and practicing for his return to the ABA national circuit, BROCK HEFFRON has teamed up with REDLINE Bicycles. He made his debut in the red, white and black at the recent NBL Coyote National – where he won with virtual ease.
”My goal is to continue to be a World Champion and to be a National No.1,” Brock recently told BMXactionOnline.com in his first interview on Redline. “And my plan is to someday be as good as Bubba Harris.”
Noteworthy, is the fact that Brock won his first National as a Novice aboard a stock 2004 (30th Anniversary Edition) Redline Flight Junior bike. Proving true once again, the Redline slogan of “It all starts with a Redline.”
Keep an eye out for Heffron this season, as he plans to continue the winning streak of last year that was cut short due to a football injury.

Sorry it has been a couple weeks since our last update.
So I wanted to make sure you all know how much we appreciate your well wishes, birthday messages & prayers.
I'm awaiting an update from Stephen's father, but I can give you a little insight from my time with Stephen & his family.
Stephen and close family friend, Eve.
Their holidays have been wonderful, just being together as a family is more than anyone could ask for. Though Stephen has been sick off & on he continues to fight everything thrown at him. At Christmas, Santa (you all know who you are) must have known all that they lost when they had to move after Stephen's injury. Seth & Mason woke up Christmas morning with loads of presents underneath their tree. It has been very hard on all of us, but we can only imagine what these two young boys must be going through. So again, thank you for making two little boys happy at such a difficult time!
On January 6th, Stephen & Melissa flew back to Baltimore to begin working with dr. John McDonald, who is also the doctor that worked closely with Christopher Reeves.
Dr. McDonald joined Kennedy Kennedy Krieger Institute in 2004 in order to launch a brand-new spinal cord rehabilitation and research program with a focus on pediatric paralysis, a program that will become the only of its kind in the world. Dr. McDonald also holds a primary appointment as associate professor in the department of neurology at Johns Hopkins university school of medicine with co-appointments in physical medicine and rehabilitation and neuroscience departments.
Dr. McDonald sits on the advisory boards of two companies, Restorative Therapies, Inc. Of Baltimore, MD and Bioaxone of Montreal, Canada. He is the present chairman of the spinal cord injury research program advisory board at the University of Missouri, Columbia and holds positions on the New York state SCI research board, and the Philadelphia Shriner's hospital medical advisory board.
Stephen's father is there with him and good friend Clint, who has helped since Stephen & Melissa have been home from Denver.
We still receive many emails as to where to find the T-shirts & Stephen Murray merchandise. Dan's comp, has offered to be our main distributor in all sales of merchandise. 100% of the sales go directly to Stephen's fund.
We have been so fortunate to have received support from so many around the world. If not for all of you, opening your hearts and keeping Stephen in your prayers, we would have never been able to provide him with some of the necessities he needs to be home instead of a hospital room.
There are so many I would personally love to thank, but concern I might leave someone out, please know you are all, close in our hearts and we are forever grateful to have you in our life's!
Much love & appreciation,
Kimarie
