Well; I’m a big fan, but I judge magazines exclusively on the amount of Diamondback products and riders I can find within it’s pages and I found a bunch in this one. Scroll on…brothers! You’ll know you have a copy of my new favorite issue when you see this cover of Gary Young with rims and bars that match his t-shirt. It’s all about accessorizing…
(Quick heads up....the following links in this story may or may not open in a new window, so you may be diverted from the loop'd network, however, we tried to make it so it would pop in a new window)
The first shot of a DB rider is this one of Nate that can be found on page 29 in the report on the Portland stop of the Dew Tour. Nate put on a great show at the event, but missed qualifying for the finals by one position after the last rider to go edged him out. Nate ended up getting hurt and missed qualifying at the Salt Lake stop, but did qualify at the final stop of the tour in Orlando and rode to a 7th place in the final. Nice job Nate! Not bad for a AA Pro racer… Across from that shot of Nate is another great of Rob Darden doing the most stylish one-handed table I’ve ever seen. Despite the fact that Rob doesn’t ride a Diamondback, he was still able to throw down this very impressive move (see page 28 when your copy arrives).
You’ll see this great shot of Diogo in the coverage of the LG Big Air BMX Triples event that went down in the OC a little while back. Diogo had a great time at this event and ended up winning. Congratulations Diogo! The new mid-sized Lucky 18 is tested in the issue and the mid-sized rider loved it. Click here to be taken to the whole report.
Coverage of the recent X Games is also included in this issue. That’s where you’ll find this great shot of Diogo doing a very stylish invert. I’m not sure why this image looks so bad since all I did was shrink it, but I do know that you can get your own high resolution portable copy of it by calling 1 (800) 767-0345 or by clicking here.
Diogo had a great time at that event too and won that silver medal he’s holding in the SuperPark event.
This is the Diamondback ad in the issue on the inside back cover. Congratulations Diogo! Thanks for everything and get well soon… Thanks for stopping by, Team Diamondback Bikes
